Think Plant Protein!

Some protein sources do contain a higher amount of calories than others; it’s worth knowing which ones to choose. Protein that comes from animal products such as meat, dairy and eggs provide all eight essential amino acids that the body needs, but they come with a higher-calorie, fat and cholesterol count than other sources. Eating these food-groups in moderation is great, but there is also the option of plant based protein to choose from that are just as beneficial.

Plant proteins are:

1. Low in saturated fat
2. Alkaline-forming.
3. Easy to digest
Protein rich foods keep you fuller for longer. Think in terms of both plant based protein as well as animal protein. Aim for min of 15g protein per meal, usually higher with the main meal. PDM will help you achieve your recommended daily protein intake.

The difference between PDM and F3 is that PDM is used as a base for a shake, much like you could use milk or juice and F3 is used to help hit a persons protein target and curb hunger.

The benefit of PDM compared to other bases is that it’s lower in calories and carbs but proportionally higher in protein and contains vitamins and minerals. Also it is mixed with water which is available pretty much anywhere. (PDM can also be used as a snack).
